Signature Healthcare was one of the first community hospitals in Massachusetts to open a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab, and its commitment to maintaining leading edge technology for heart health has not wavered. In 2008 Signature opened the Helen Greene Cardiac Catheterization Suite

Other technology available includes a 64-slice CT (computed tomography) scanner for earlier detection of coronary disease; coronary angiography, a non-invasive nuclear imaging test, offering three-dimensional diagnostic scans of the heart at work; and an inpatient, ‘step down’ cardiac telemetry unit for continuous monitoring of patient vital signs during recovery and recuperation.

Signature patients are further served by an electronic health record (EHR) system which puts all patient medical history, both inpatient and ambulatory, immediately in the hands of every provider. Reliance on EHR across the Signature network improves quality, safety and timeliness of all care.
