General Surgery encompasses a wide array of surgical procedures. The general surgeons at Signature Healthcare perform over 1500 surgical cases per year, including operations on the thyroid, breast, gallbladder, and colon. From hernia surgery to complex cancer care, our surgeons are all board certified, affiliated with Tufts Medical Center, and committed to providing the skilled personalized surgical care you expect.

These surgeons bring sophisticated care to the community. We perform nearly 90% of elective colon surgery laparoscopically. We provide advanced endocrine surgery on the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. We lead the way in breast conservation surgery for breast cancer with sentinel node biopsies and partial breast irradiation techniques. We continue to innovate by offering laparoscopic gallbladder surgery through a single incision.
