What is a Hospitalist?
A hospitalist's only job is to take care of you while you are a patient in the hospital. A hospitalist is typically a physician or a physician's assistant, and their primary job is in coordinating your treatment so that it is efficient and safe, and taking all possible steps to help with your recovery. They may order certain tests, or communicate your care plan and diagnosis with your other caregivers. Our team of 19 hospitalists will visit with you in the hospital and ensure your questions are answered.
