Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital is dedicated to improving life for the youth in the community. Since 1998, the hospital’s Reach Out and Read (ROR) program has continued to serve children. ROR is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 at Boston City Hospital (now Boston Medical Center), through a collaboration of pediatricians and early childhood educators. Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital was the first location on the South Shore to implement this successful program. Each year approximately 1,000 books are donated to children through the Hospital’s ROR program.
