We offer Signature Healthcare patients state-of-the-art technology in the form of Digital Mammography at both the hospital and our 110 Liberty St. location. Digital mammography is able to detect more incidences of cancer than film based mammography, and, while fewer than half of all screening facilities nationwide use this technology, we are offer it at two sites!

The Women’s Imaging Center at Signature Healthcare offers the highest level of diagnostic capabilities, including mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast MRI, breast MRI biopsy, ultrasound and bone density testing, all in a private, welcoming suite. Our mammography service is staffed by a group of all-female technologists dedicated solely to mammography.

Each and every one of our dedicated radiological technologists is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and our radiologists are board certified and accredited by the American College of Radiology. Our Ultrasound, Mammography, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, and MRI programs are all accredited by the American College of Radiology.
