Concussion Prevention at Massasoit Community College Monday, July 14, 2014

Massasoit Community College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and as members of the NJCAA, each school is required to have a concussion management plan in place. With the help of Linda McAlear and Brockton Signature Healthcare, not only have we formulated a plan, but are now able to better identify and treat student athletes who have been concussed or are suspected of concussion.
We are very happy with our partnership with Signature Healthcare. Linda has provided us with a wealth of information and support. She is always available when we need her and has answered many of our questions regarding concussion in athletes. It has been a wonderful opportunity.
Again, thank you and Signature Healthcare for reaching out to Massasoit Community College in this collaboration to keep our student athletes healthy and safe.
Sincerely,
Julie Mulvey
