Support for Students with Disabilities
BHSON provides reasonable accommodations to students with documented disabilities, so long as such disabilities, as determined on a case-by-case basis, do not preclude the student from meeting the qualifications considered essential by the faculty/staff of the School of Nursing for successful completion of the educational objectives of its curriculum. In order to determine appropriate and effective accommodations relevant documentation (i.e. neuropsychological or psycho-educational evaluations) must be submitted the Office of Counseling and Student Services.
Please note that the Massachusetts State Nursing Board's requirements for accommodations for the NCLEX exam may differ from BHSON's requirements.
Please contact Meghan Buchanan, Coordinator of Counseling and Student Services at 508-941-7050 with any questions.
