Head Injuries on the Soccer Field
Friday, February 15, 2019
Rosi Walsh played on the varsity soccer team during her sophomore year in high school when an accident on the field led to an unexpected concussion. Fortunately, at the start of soccer season, Rosi had baseline concussion testing done through a Signature Healthcare program called Impact, and with that data, doctors were better able to gauge the actual impact of her real concussion. At the time, Rosi was out almost an entire school year recovering, but is happy to report that she will soon be attending UNC Charlotte to study architecture.
