Lauren joined the Center for Weight Management in November 2017. Lauren has a well rounded nutrition background. Working in both clinical nutrition and out-patient counseling environments has helped her to provide the best possible patient care. Lauren spent three years living in San Diego working as a dietitian in an out-patient medical office and skilled nursing facility. In San Diego she also completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training. Yoga has helped her to better understand the mind/body connection. She believes food is medicine and learning to nourish yourself is key to living your best life. In her free time Lauren enjoys group fitness classes, running, yoga, cooking, traveling, reading and spending time with family & friends.
