Face Covering/Mask Guidelines
The CDC has updated its guidance regarding cloth masks in a healthcare setting. Due to higher community positivity rates, the CDC recommends medical/surgical masks as a safer alternative. All patients/visitors of Signature Healthcare must wear a medical/surgical mask, including while visiting patient rooms at all times. Face coverings must cover the entire mouth and nose. Signature Healthcare does not permit cloth masks, scarves, bandanas, neck extenders/gaiters and handkerchiefs. Patients and visitors should bring an appropriate mask. If a patient/visitor doesn’t have a mask that meets this standard, a medical/surgical mask will be provided. If a visitor refuses to wear an appropriate face covering they will not be allowed to visit.
Everyone must wash their hands prior to entering the patient room.
All visitors must go directly to the patient room and leave immediately at the conclusion of the visit. No wandering the hallways or visiting the cafeteria.
You may experience a delay entering the medical facilities during the screening process.
