Our employees donate and then departments can request funds for items to help make our patients more comfortable. Allocation is managed by an employee committee. The funds are matched by Signature Healthcare Corporation and put into an Employee Relief Fund.
In 2020 with the help of 449 associates, we raised just over $50,000 in cash and pledges. We kept with our WE CARE Values, Signature Healthcare matching donations made by associates to the AAFD to go towards our Employee Relief Program. The 2019 Associate Annual Fund Drive also included funds for associates to donate to: Brockton Hospital School of Nursing Fund, Patient Advocacy Fund and the We Care H.O.P.E. Fund. Donations from last year’s fund were used to purchase patient chairs, patient step stools, ultrasound gel warmers, patient monitor, ambulance modems and much more.
