I recently came in for a surgical biopsy. Before the biopsy I had to go to Women's Imaging to have a needle localization where they place a guide wire in the location to be biopsied. This is a most unpleasant experience that I hope to never have again. I must share that the staff that I encountered are the most wonderful and compassionate group of people I have come in contact with. I felt faint during the procedure and they were so helpful and patient with me until I felt better. Because of their kind care and attention I was able to trudge through and continue on with the procedure so that I could keep my surgical appointment.
Dr. MacVicar was my surgeon and she wheeled me to Women’s Imaging herself and came back to bring me to the operating room after. What service! She is the best!
In the holding area before surgery and in the recovery area after, all the staff are fabulous and do everything in their power to make you comfortable and keep you informed.
I also wish to extend my compliments to the staff at the Greene Cancer Center. The ladies that check you in and out are so incredibly kind and Dr. Freter is soft spoken and very thorough.
You have outstanding people there at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital!
